The 01-02 Sedan I think has nicer lines, although the 98-00 sedan has more options in terms of lip kits. That being said, you can mod pretty much any front lip to fit the 01-02.

If you are looking at the Auto tranny, then the 02 would be a better choice as by that time the tranny "gremlins" were pretty much worked out.

If your funds are enough, then I would suggest the EX model, just for the few extras you get.

how about I4 5spd VS V6 6spd? BTW that 5spd VS V6 AT I am not sure yet until I seen it on the track lol.

i havent found I4 5sp every car i look at was auto. is the I4 Tranny better then the V6.
