..... i was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem that i am having in turboing my accord. I have the f23a1 engine in a 99 ex 4dr.
I have placed a custom turbonetics kit on the car. The tuning shop replaced my EVAP valve from a 3 wire to a 2 wire to control the idle at stops. The problem that i am having with the car now is that on the dyno the car stops regeistering power on the dyno after 4 grand and the dyno numbers go down. the shop pretty much ruled out the engine, spinns freely at the crank, ruled out the wiring, no probs, and are tuning the car with a p28 converted ecu. They stated that they heard chattering in the trann once the car was off the dyno and that the flywheel bolts may have been lose. Upon opening the trann, they found out that the bolts where not lose, but that the generic ebay lightened flywheel did not rest properly over the crank and just sat on top of it. They showed me how a ACT flywheel fits better and basically refered me to purhcase an ACT setup(clutch, flywheel, pressplate, etc.) If the flywheel is not resting on the crank porperly and not allowing the clutch to work properly, could that cause the issue that i am having??....sorry to drop this long **** on you man, but i am at a real loss with this issue of the car and i have been all over Honda-tech and this site looking for help. Any help would be greatly accepted. a new member...
here is a couple of pics of what i was able to do...REMEMBER THIS IS MY FIRST ATTEMPT...never was an engine mod guy...
