Hi, I’m new to the forums. Just this past weekend, I picked up a 1999 LX sedan, automatic, and 4 cylinder with 230k to use as a daily driver. I went with this Accord simply because it happened to be available from someone I knew and trusted, and the vehicle was well maintained with very detailed maintenance records. Previously, I was using a 1992 Acura Integra DB1, but it got to the point where I needed something newer and more comfortable. I already miss the handling and performance of the Integra, but since I really don’t have the luxury to keep it around, I put it up for sale.

As far as plans for the Accord, my priority is keeping it clean and comfortable. The first thing I’m going to do is change the interior lighting to LEDs. Next would be exploring the options for HIDs and tail lights. Once all the lighting is done, the next thing I’m considering are window visors and window tinting. After that, I’ll figure out what I want to do with the stock steel wheels. The tires still have a lot of life in them.

Hey, welcome to the greatest community on the internet!

my first concern would be your transmission especially with AT and at that much of racked mileage.

be sure to search for any and all questions before creating new thread because that would be the fastest and simplest way to answer them.

enjoy your stay and GL on all your future endeavor with the 6GA!

Welcome to the site. Interior LED's update the car nicely, as do exterior LED's. You can make this car handle well with a nice suspension set-up. Performance-wise the best thing you could do for the car is a 5spd swap which isn't super expensive and many people have DIY'd.

There is a section for non-6GA cars if you'd like to share your Integra. :)
