i recently just purchased a 98 honda accord lx 4-cyl. its the first car ive owned in a while but not the first honda ive owned. previous owner had already done a few things to the car, but i need to get it up to the honda stealership so i can get the check engine code P1382 taken care of. i have pics on my myspace page but i can get the html links that they added to the pics to work

lmao trust me im all about searching through forums to find answers to the probs ive had with past vehicles. my family cant understand how i can buy a beater that they say wont last 3 months and i wind up driving it for 2 years like i did with my 87 toyota mr2 before i had to junk it. i paid 4 grand for the car flat out and so far trying to fix that stupid p1381 (which is now showing p1382 code) $491.90 and that doesn't include filling up the tank, getting shafted on a no touch car wash (car still looks dirty, just gonna pay to have it detailed), getting new wiper blades, wiper fluid, black car mats to match the exterior, and the wire harness and install kit to put the stereo that i had in my mr2 into it since the P/O did leave the cd case for the changer.

there's still some other small things that need sorted out on the car too like for some reason that even the the tank is full it only shows 3/4 full for the needle, when you turn on the brights there no indication light on the gauges that they're on but they do work. but once i get the check engine light taken care of im gonna start sourcing out the parts ill need to convert the rear drums to disk cuz they're rusted pretty badly but still work. im trying to keep my self from spending more than i need to on this til i can get a job. i used the money i got from my workers comp settlement (10g's) to buy the car and now after wut ive spent so far geting full coverage insurance and other stuff im down to like 4g's

Welcome to the site :) For the lack of indicator for the brights, prob just a blown bulb in your cluster. Simple bulb swap'll take care of that (if that is the reason).
