Hi guys. Fairly new to the forums--this is actually my first post. Been reading a lot about suspension and whatnot, and just checking things out in general. Seems like a pretty cool community. :)

At any rate, it's already kinda hard for me to get my jack under and far enough back to reach the jack point in the front without hitting my bumper, and my car's at stock height. How do you guys jack up your cars after they're lowered or "slammed?"

Just curious.

the jack points on the side behind the front wheels and if you're too low for that drive onto some 2x4's then try they'll look like this

The tab you're talking about is where I usually put my jackstands. Is there somewhere else you would put the stand, then? I'm just super-paranoid about being under the car while it's only on a jack. Like, for oil-changes and stuff.

You are correct. No one should EVER get underneath a car with only a jack holding it up.

Very smart move not wanting to stay under with only a jack holding it. Low profile jack with some decent stands is always good.
