look at pics from any import meet...
alternatively, look at pics from about 2 years ago or so. just like the civic fogs, how many people had them before everyone else did? how many people on here dont have fog lights?
i mean, bike racks as fashion, not for function first. maybe search "roof rack" here and see the dates of threads. of course its nothing personal, but some of us have been here for a while and have seen quite a few topics.

Well some people do not use it for their purpose. They buy it just because they have seen others and like it. Just go to any car meet and there will be tons of cars with roof racks. I know cycling, snowboarding, etc is not that popular. Roof racks just look awesome on cars
, so people buy them. There really is no justification for buying a roof rack if it is never used for it's purpose and just for looks.

hhahah i still have my snowboard attachment on my rack but ive been damn lazy to take it off, i barely drive my car cuz i ride my bike so often so i forget about it

well I don't know about that 99%, but I rewired mine to run by themselves.
so I'll be that 1% that creeps up on people like a yellow swimming pool glowing off the walls of the pool room at a rec club.
