Hi guys,

I have recently bought a 1998 accord lx sedan. It has been dropped with eibach and comes with an old school 17" rims. However, there is a noticeable noise if
it going over bumps. It also sounds like crack and hit something. Do you guys have any idea what happen to it?
Also, winter is coming in my area soon, and i would prorbably need to put snow tires on it. Is my lower setting able to deal with 15" with 195/65-15?

Thanks!

Are you using your OEM shocks?

Ride looks decent.

You will be fine with those winters and that drop.

You bought the car with the suspension already on it?

I am wondering if one of the shocks might be blown.

^ I would second that, a few if not all of the struts are probably blown from drop springs and age.

Test it by standing over the wheel well of each wheel and pushing down on the car. There should be little rebound, if its just wobbling around they're more than likely the issue.

That hollow clunk sound is a very clear obvious sound though and I just had this issue a month ago.
