Take a look and see how your license plate light is mounted. Mine is not mounted the factory way, so I had to buy a special bulb that had the LED’s turned at 45 degree angle for them to actually reflect onto the plate.

Daniel,

I have an LED in my licence plate light as well, it's a simple swap to do.

If you had the bulb already we could do it tonight.

Jeff(Jephu) has some great bulbs and the prices are good, so you may want to consider those for both the footwell and licence plate.

I did all my LED's from Superbrightleds.com and love them. I did everything, doors, dash, trunk, and overhead lights.. and it was less than 40.00. I have had them in for a bout 3 years now and nothing has blown out.. They also sell LED strip lighting and some waterproof stuff if you do outside things.. its a little more expensive than EBay but you get what you pay for..

Off topic but i saw these and seem interesting...

Going to revive this thread with some more questions

1) I have searched, but cant find any guides on replacing the map lights. Do they take the 194 type bulbs? Was looking at these: link

2) Are there any guides for replacing the dome lights? Again I searched, have not found any guides. Also, are these bulbs the correct type and how many of them do I need for the dome light? - LINK

Yes that's correct for domes. If you had searched you would have found the answer quickly. I know because I had to a couple months ago.

Don't pay $15 for that when you can get like 4 on eBay for $5.

I thought the longest you could go for domes was like 37mm or 39mm? I forget what I bought.

Whoops I didn't even notice that. I don't remember what it is exactly then. What you said is probably right though
