Honestly, the more I think about this, the more I say to put the money towards a better performance platform. $8,000 + Accord = under-performer for the $$. Keep the Accord as a daily, it'll make a great one of those.

Which is interesting, because people like Judy, Jake, Dre, have all spent near if not more than that, and I would argue that their Accords have become much better performance platforms.

Guess it just depends on how much the Accord means to the individual.

It takes a lot of money to get to where they are...and if you put that money in a better platform you're going to end up with a better performing car.

But you're right, it does come down to how much the Accord means to an individual. I love my Accord...but I'm not willing to dump 8Gs into a car that's worth (according to KBB) roughly $2000.

honestly OP do any replacement mods that need to be done and just keep saving the rest.
