So, I the last couple of years I have had the po420 code. I know what it means and have replace a cat, both 02 sensors, clean IM, TB, and EGR, and just replaced the pcv. i dont live in a place that requires emissions, thats why im not so worried about it. as for the issue, it doesnt seem to discriminate whether the engine is cold or warm. when i start it up, and take off between 15-20mph, it will all of a sudden stop accelerating , I can rev it up but wont gain speed. BUT if i remove my foot from the gas and wait half a second it will go "into gear" not sure if its even switching gears, reason being if i reset my ecu, this whole issue goes away and wont happen again for another 50 miles of driving or so. IT ONLY HAPPENS WHEN I START MY CAR AND DRIVE IT INITIALLY, NOT WHEN I JUST START IT AND STOP AND GO IN TRAFFIC DAILY. Any suggestions. I know i read a while back it might have been my torque converter but if that was the case, it should keep happening immediately after i reset my ecu.....no codes come up for this, only my po420 code. idk, help me!!!1:coffee:

Yes, sounds like your sensors. I agree, i believe there is one for each gear. It's been awhile since i researched autotragics though, so double check that. Does it jump in all the gears? or just first or first into second?
