odd noise

I have only owned my Accord for a few months now. I am noticing little things here and there that need work or need investigating. One of those is a noise that sounds like a small electric motor coming from the glove box area. It only happens for a split second and then goes away. Sometimes a few times in a row, sometimes once in an hour.

I have not noticed any pattern at all and It only happens when the car is running so I have not been able to track down its exact location.

Any thoughts as to what this could be?

The only thing that I can think of is the possibility of the actuators for the HVAC system. I would change the settings of the A/C unit and see if that is the noise you hear.

My ac always made a slight hum when i turned it on, try and see if u can duplicate the sound with the ac

My guesss too..

My AC also makes this noise sometimes.. i think its the opening and closing... but dont quote me on that..
