i just picked up some rsx s seats and there was an amp attached to the bottom of the seat, stock bose amp, ive got all the pig tails attached as well(thank goodness) has at least 25 wires going in and out, you can see some of the standard speaker wires by color that they go in and out, i can get the wiring diagrams for the setup off AllData, but my question is, is it worth it?

and they sell cheap bypass harnesses for it

that bypass harness is so you can use a aftermarket headunit.

imo its not worth it. id get a set of good speakers and a 4 channel amp and call it a day

I see them on eBay for $40 and up. Sell it and buy an aftermarket amp. The MBQ REF4.50 is $90 at sonic.

I don't know about RSX's but I had the same sort of setup in my Talon. Your main problem using it with a stock headunit is the signal is already amplified where it's likely not in the RSX. So you are basically amplifiying the signal twice. You would either need to use line level converters or an aftermarket head unit (unless you want to try an RSX one). The best way to go would be aftermarket but then it likely has a better amp anyway, making it pointless. Add the headache of wiring it and it doesn't make sense.
