My cousin lives in Shrewsbury, MA. I'm still debating whether or not I should go sleep over his house Friday night, then Sat morning go to the meet, then straight home. Or if I should go to the meet Sat morning, and sleep over his place Sat night, and leave for home at Sunday morning.

Is Holyoke closer to NY than Shrewsbury?

yep Shrewsbury is about an hour and a half - 2hrs away depending on traffic.
