Parking is a big one. But there are a lot of driving situations where it happens. In winter, be sure to keep your distance from cars that have a foot of snow on the roof, a lot of people are too dumb to brush this off. And after it sits a few days, it's ice. Sometimes the wind will catch a slab of ice on the freeway and throw it into up in the air only to come down on your hood.
I also keep a lot of distance from trucks with open beds or dump trucks carrying dirt and rocks. They have no idea their s**t is not secured and falling onto the road behind them.
This thread is the reason for my quote in my sig. Some people actually don't view their car as only a mode of transportation.
Also to add...I do not care how much you hate someone. You do NOT mess with another man's automobile. It's just wrong, period.
