there is def something off about that it looks like it was a rattle can flat black not a spray gun flat black i could be wrong though it just seems like the paint it kinda rough

And it's a legit paint job, not rattle can, the car was just taken out of the body shop that day. But yeah, it does look off in pics.

It looks like primer in the pics

Have you tried shooting a grey card to get the exposure nailed down. Just based on a quick glance I'm thinking that maybe the 'Vette is a bit "overexposed", which is why it doesn't look much like a professional flat black paintjob.

That's a hot car, though. I bet it looks amazing in person!
