Here goes to some editing I did with the photos from the black and white party photoshoot

SOOO how did I do?

get a tripod for these kind of shots. you seem to be using flash which is highlighting stuff like the reflectors in the tail lights and the license plate and the wheel wells etc etc. it is also causing two differently balanced light sources which makes you have a choice of cooling it to get rid of the orange look which makes the flash's light look too blue, or warming the flash's light which turns the other light even more orange.

Yea I have alot of stuff i gotta get for it. And yea Im using the camera flash. I want to get a better one soon. This was just my 1st shots with the camera and needed some good input on how to really put it to good use. Thanks though, next time I wont be using the flash.

I wouldn't recommend buying anything other than a tripod for it until you understand how to properly use it. Otherwise its real easy to end up just playing with all your new toys and it'll take you longer to learn how to use them correctly
