they can't outlaw aftermarket parts cos a large number of the companies are based in california.... taking them out = taking out a big part of the economy.... i'm all for anti-street racing, but i've seen stupid cases where ppl get caught altho they didn't street race.... one of my friends was pulled over just because 2 modified cars were rolling next to each other... go figure

The **** is really going to hit the fan if they start crushing cars that people don't have paid off yet. Would you pay your car note if the government crushed your car? I doubt it. Then what are the credit companies going to re-posess? A crushed scrap of metal?

ive been i situation where i was just rolling by some random fixed-up rsx, and cop was flashing light at me and him....and ended up pulling him over....that was so gay.....

There was a teg that got crushed too but I can't find the video on that..they think this is going to solve the problem but I feel it will create more..kids who are caught street racing on multiple accounts will start to fear this and I think they will actually run and cause more havoc. Stiffer license and impound penalties would get the job done. The popo could roll out in modified cars and go undercover as well.

damn i thought that the penalties were bad enough but this is insanity! how can they just destroy your car, it still gets you place to place, if your a danger on the road then take away your licence and problem solved, unless your car is a robot that kills people on its own it doesnt make sence to destroy it, it has worth regaurdless of weather you race with it or not. Uhg idiots, i feel so bad for that kis i thought he was gonna cry, i think i would if that was my baby.

Thats complete BS. I actually heard about this a year or two ago though. I wonder if when I register my car in CA, what they will say since I have a street racing ticket on my history....I get nervous whenever I see a cop while driving my car, I think that even though I dont race anymore, because I think a lot of the time the police target modified cars.

i heard something like if cop sees that you have nos, or any wires/hose that could possibly be a nos, then they will destroy your car......other wise, they will take everything that are illegal and transfer the car to the auction.....
