is it a plastic chrome grill or real metal? i think a brushed metal grill and window trim would look killer

It's plastic chrome. My thought is Ima just paint the H gold and polish the chrome around the grille.

I have a huge huge update coming. By far the best deal I could ever find! Ima get my money straight and I will have some goodies y'all will love!!!

Check engine light came on. Thermostat malfunction. Then I go to check the coolant tank and the bish is filled with oil! I've finally cracked 292k and this happens. It felt like my whole life just been taking away from me. I really don't want to pull the motor out or buy another one :(. Idk what to do

I know the feeling. Mine was totaled a few months ago. Consider all the cash you plan to sink into this project, 2-3k for a blank canvas with fewer miles could be helpful. For example, wanted to paint mine black and swap for black leather interior. For the amount that would have costed I bought a black coupe with black leather that was four years newer than my 98 with 20,000 less miles. An engine swap can also be done for the same price.

It sucks, but at 290k miles you must have expected this to be right around the corner.

I just looked at your mods list...you're running 18x11 +20 wheels at stock height?:jawdrop:

Bump in your trunk!

Used to, lol.

Head gasket isn't bad, warped head is!

Engine swap in a weekend! Really 1 day at a shop. I'd pull head and check em for flatness.

I was just trying to replace the head gasket but my dad said at that many miles it's not worth it plus it's already burning a little oil :/. I have a 10 day vacation from work so I need this done asap! I can always find a motor for around $350 as well, I just don't want to do all that frickin work!

Lmao! Nooo I wasn't playing on putting the wheels on til I got my air ride done. I'm just rolling on steelies right now

If you actually looked through the thread I have pics of the car up here

Ima just pull it out and cuss the whole time. Like I'm telling varnell I just want to replace the gasket but like my dad said its already leaking a little oil and if I just replace the head gasket at that many miles, I will just double the oil leaking unless I replace the oil rings.

BTW he has been the service manager at the honda store here for 24 years now so I always ask him first.
