Anyone ever paint their chrome window trim? I saw a few members that have done so, but was curious what kind of paint and process was used. Or did people just remove the trim entirely?

The DX accords come with black window trim, maybe you can do a swap.

Yo Patty, whats up?

I actually bought some of that vinyl adhesive tape someone was selling in the classifieds. Just waiting for him to send it and i'll let you know how it turns out.

I used Duplicolor trim paint. I did about 3-4 coats. Use a Scotch scuff pad so the paint can stick easier and make sure you mask off your car really well, or else you may get some overspray from gaps in the paper.

Trim-Brite Blackout Tape is the way to go. $6 a roll, and you will need 2 rolls for the whole car. Just use a soft credit card to push the bubbles out while you are applying it. It is tricky at first, but after the first door you should have a good hang of how to do it. Make sure it wraps around every crevice, and don't cut it too much or chrome will show. Get a sharp exacto knife. I'd start with one of the rear doors. Hope this helps.
