painting interior woodgrain trim. no sanding or priming?

hey i want to paint my interior trim on the door panels and also the trim around the shifter and i was just wondering would i HAVE to sand or prime it? cause at walmart i found this and wasnt sure if its reliable.. it says its for plastic so i was thinking it should work but iono.. what do u guys think?

Thats good stuff. I used it on my dash a year and a half ago and it still looks great. All I did for prep was wipe it down with alcohol.

Should work fine.

I used that stuff on Brittney's Fit valve cover, came out great. Thanks for reminding me about that, I'm gonna buy that do to my woograin **** next haha

The main thing is to get off all the oils and whatnot by using the previously mentioned alcohol or lacquer thinner.

no sanding need just clean it like every1 else said, with alchohol or something. i used primer for mines though with adhesion promoter which helps paint bond to plastic more.
