Today's lighting is PERFECT for photo's. Just a bit overcast.

Sunny = terrible!

It was... okay. When the showers passed through the Roseville area around 7:30-8:00 there was a chance to great THE perfect shot of a complete, unobstructed rainbow and I left the camera at home since I was making a quick run to Best Buy...

But what does Ken Rockwell have to say? :lawl:

I saw that. It was complete end to end and was actually a bit of a double
rainbow. I went out and took some half assed pics and they all sucked.
There was trees all over and the rainbow didn't really show up. Oh well.

Man, I seriously had a nightmare last night about buying the 70-200 2.8 IS I'm about to order. I got it in and the lens sucked, I went out taking pictures of random things and none of the pictures were sharp and half of them were out of focus. I was like freaking out smacking myself for spending $1,500 on a lens that sucked worse than the $50 55-200 I already had... and then I woke up.

I let the stupidest **** stress me out. :mad:

It could happen. You'd then just send it in and let Canon handle it. LOL!

LOL shaddup. I see B&H and Adorama already upped the price $100 from the $1500. It still says there's a $200 discount but that's BS haha. Newegg still has it listed for $1500 but it's out of stock until the 12th. I'll wait a few days and see what happens.

BH did that last year too and had a lot of angry people. I think there's still a couple reputable sites with "normal" pricing + rebate. Just search around.
