so I am contemplating the new Nikon D7000...first nikon with 1080 and supposedly it is as nice as the D300s

Bought the Tamron 10-24mm wide angle for my D60. Absolutely love it! Opens up a whole new range to the shots I can take

nice. post up some pics sometime

i want a wide angle for my next lens and i was leaning toward the tokina 11-16 cause its very sharp and a f2.8 but its a lot of money. plus i would think that having one that zooms up to 24mm is nice for taking a quick shot when you dont want the drastic wide angle look

oh i was wondering if that tree was taken with the wide angle or not.

what about this one? looks a little soft compared to what i'm used to but the DOF is pretty narrow

since the FD is a "dead" mount, i'd probably only go up to $50 or so...

so I'm getting some money after xmas for a gift that's being returned... question is whether to spend it on a 55-200mm lens, or a 8.5 turn motor + speed control for the rally truck haha
