id take coilover sleeves over boring drop springs any day of the week, especially if theyre ground controls. know what youre talking about before you release your finger diarrhea next time ;)

im speaking from experience as I have tried coilover sleeves and they were absolutely terrible. i have not tried the ground controls but assumed they performed the same as the ebay ones since they are setup/designed the same way. every car I have had springs/coilovers on have performed amazingly.

You can't even compare eBay coils to GC's, lol. But from experience tokico struts are great oe style replacment struts, however they do ride alot stiffer then the kyb's or something like that. I have also ridden on Gc's just not with the two combined. I think it will ride OK, just don't slam it..

i love my ground controls and hate them at the same time because i have noise issues that i cant get rid of for the rears. none the less GC's are great coilovers. maybe they're just mine. =/

Run an Eibach Spacer, and a 175.(Diameter).150 Eibach Helper Spring. It keep the load on the spring at all time and it will get rid of some noise.

The Ground Controls are a much higher quality sleeve, and much better spring quality with Eibach Springs than any ebay garbage. There is a reason why the ground controls cost what they do.

is that the only thing i can do about it? or is there an alternative?

Clunking in the rear is a common problem with most suspension setups with the accords. I even have my fair share for the past few years.

I am not too sure if it is the only suggestion or problem solver, but I know most noise is from the springs unloading completely. The only way to fix that is to lengthen the spring. Since you cant to that, you run a small helper spring.
