Thanks guys. This is the stock shift boot from european 350Zs that have burnt orange leather (same interior as mine). It needed little work from the upholster though.

Quick question and this seemed like a good place for it. I'm in the process of cutting down my shifter. how do you guys keep your shift boot up when you swap out your shift knob?

Collar, or fold/roll it in on itself.

Look on eBay for a Jtc or pspec collar or club rsx sells them also.

Have one with my Jtc short shifter but took it off because of how counter sunk my knob is. It looks very nice IMO

To respond to the questions about the grimy center console, I don't think it matters where you are. I'm in Indiana, and mine is doing the same thing.
