Alright guys, the time has come to purchase your own set of Powertrix Rear Lower Control Arms with Static Plate Kit included. For those of you that are not familiar with these arms, they will allow you to adjust your camber and your toe. I started this endeavor almost a year ago with a few trusted colleagues, and we made it a reality.

While there are other options on the market for adjusting the rear camber and toe, they are not the best. For one, they use cheap rubber bushings that are prone to binding as well as deformation over time. Second, there were no good options to lock your toe arm in place to prevent it from changing over time. Seeing that there was a gap in the market where a demand could be met, I had these arms custom designed for the Accord/TL/CL, which will bolt on just like an OEM arm would, will allow you full adjustability of your rear camber and toe, and will lock your toe arm in place, so the only adjustment can be done through the arm itself. Additionally, you will not need to worry about any bushings binding while raising or lowering the car. This is currently the only kit on the market for this car that I'm aware of that is this high of quality.

Applications:
98-02 Honda Accord
99-03 Acura TL
01-03 Acura CL

*Note that these may also be compatible with 03-07 Honda Accords, 04-08 TSX, 04-08 TL

Here is a bit more information about the products themselves.

Powertrix said:
The POWERTRIX - HONDA ACCORD Rear Lower Control Arms Kit features Heat Tempered Forged Steel, nickel Chromium plated bodies and Static Plates Kits coupled with 4130 Billet Chromoly, Slot Loaded, Kevlar/Teflon injected Rod Ends and 10.9 grade hardware. The elimination of soft rubber bushings with the upgraded non-tolerance rod ends ensures less play and variation to the camber and toe settings and provides a more consistent performance oriented feel. Further, the installation of our Static Plate kits completely eliminate the chance of losing proper alignment do to the eventual slipping of the stock adjustable eccentric bolts.

This kit has been designed to increase alignment adjust-ability offering the MOST range available with approximately 9 degrees of adjustment.

Kits comes complete with the following:

2 Adjustable Lower Camber Arms
2 Adjustable Toe Rods
2 Static Plate Kits (also known as lock out kits)
Featuring:
10.9 grade hardware and crimped lock nuts
4130 Billet Chromoly, Slot Loaded, Kevlar/Teflon injected Rod Ends

Benefits for this kit include:
  • Full control of rear camber
  • Full control of rear toe
  • Toe lockout (toe will not change over time unless you adjust the arm)
  • No maintenance required
  • No bushings to bind over time
  • OEM fitment
  • Chrome plated forged steel turnbuckles (bling bling)
*Note that because this kit does not utilize rubber bushings, the arms may be slightly louder than stock, and will also transfer a bit more feedback from the road to the cabin of the car. I have tested these on my car though and did not notice a tangible difference, as I'm on coilovers.

For those wondering how much adjustment there is, I was able to get to about -5.5° all the way up to +4.5° of camber adjustment, but that was not maxing out the negative camber on these arms. You may be able to get up to -6~6.5° if you are low.

Intro pricing is $299.95 SHIPPED within the United States. There are 24 kits in total that are in stock, ready to ship. After they are gone, the cost is likely to go up to $399.95.

How I recommend adjusting them during the install is to have the arm full threaded all the way to the top of the rod end on both sides. Slip a bolt through the Powertrix arms through to the arm you are replacing, hold the top rod end in place, and rotate the turnbuckle. DO NOT TURN ONE ROD END FIRST, THEN THE OTHER. You need both rod ends to be moving at the same rate. Once they are installed though, you do not need to remove the arm to adjust it. Just loosen the jam nuts and turn the turnbuckle.

Also, another note is that the crimp nuts are only a one or two time use nut. They will eventually form back into a normal hexagonal shape after a few installations, so do not install and remove the toe arms repeatedly.

Yup, and you can see them from behind the car too. Light will be shining off of these bad boys.

One thing the manufacturer advised is that the end user apply a bit of antiseize to the threads of the rod ends to make adjusting them at a later date easier. I'd recommend doing this prior to installation.

I've been watching your thread since it started. It's always nice to see quality aftermarket support for our cars. After a few reviews you'll have my cash.

Buy with confidence. I have a set on my car now, tested them out. They're great quality, great fitment, and have a good range of adjustment. They work as advertised. I wouldn't bother offering them to you guys if I didn't believe in them.
