Project:95 Hatchiee-Progress thread(lots pics)

picked up this 95 civic eg hatch last saterday with a Locked up D15b8... My progress today..spent about 5 hours on it so far.waiting on some parts to get here before I can get it on the road.
Header,catback,intake and misc parts needed that was missing from the shell.
Enjoy...

plans where to fix it cheaply and sell it for profit..but Iv always wanted one so I think im end up keeping it..Going to do all the body work and paint it,then put some Drag DR-20s on it and call it aday.keep it nice,simple and clean.

6/18:Yanked locked up motor and dropped in a new JDM D15B with cx tranny.

yeah everybody and thier mother races those eg's. they are nice, light and u can literally do anything to that car w/ all the aftermarket support out there.
but to common for me
when i went to the shop to ask how much it would cost to build my f23 and then drop it into my accord they laughed and said that the accord was fat and slow.

well every1 has there likes and dislikes..i still have my boosted accord with all new parts for my turbo kit waiting to go on..Im going to get this running so I can drive it to work while the accord is under the knife.

ur not alone, im just about out of all i wanna do to my cg and want a project, i was considering a 94ish hatch/coupe
or a ae86

proby b civic, ae86 is a lil to rare and pricey

so i say keep it and have fun with it they are nice imo

good pick-up. I'm trying to do something similar so I can have a gas saver to drive to and from work since the accord doesn't get the best mileage now that its turbo'd.
