Question on HIDs

I was looking at DDMtuning to get some HIDs.
I was wondering what the difference is between the raptor kit and the slim ballast. Yes i've done research on this and eBay but i still can't figure it out.
All i've found is that the raptor kit is bigger and has less interference.
Am i missing anything??

Also seeing that it says HID harness, Adaptor cables whatever.
Are those necessary?

Sorry in advance i don't know much but learning as i go.

My plan was to get the 6000k 35w.
Just wondering what the Raptor kit was basically.

The main difference between the Raptor and DDM ballasts is the the size of the ballast. For both styles, only the 35W units are available for in-store purchases; all 55W HID kits must be purchased from our online store.

The DDM Slim ballasts are digital-in, digital-out; the Raptor ballasts are analog-in, digital-out. The only difference that this generates is the Slim ballasts will fire a fraction of a second quicker than the Raptor ballasts.

Full-size Raptor : Chrome Finish (Blank)
DDM : Black (DDM logo)

Available Wattage:
Full-size Raptors: 35 watt and 55watt
DDMs: 35 watt and 55watt

Considering what 001stunna posted, just choose whichever one is cheaper (price-wise) or which color you want (black or chrome).

Do you guys just throw HIDs into the OEM headlights??
Will the output be all stupid looking??

+1 on the output being horrible. Look up what a retrofit is and consider getting one. =)

I do search and i read a lot, but i learn more from a direct answer if that makes sense. there are some things i do get just by reading but things i like to be further clarified by direct answer.. if that makes sense.
I want a retrofit but i don't have the tools to do it. :/

All you need are an oven, basic screwdrivers, needle nose pliers, shop towels of course, a dremel with a cutting wheel, and obviously the tools to take off your bumper.
