yes im wanting to do this also is everything plug and play?? Or is their some wiring to do??
Was this a plug and play swap same as the Tl one?? Minus one plug that isnt needed.Hello! I did just do the swap and It was straight forward and my trim piece was already cut up(i am doing a shift boot anyway) but i actually took out the actuator and don't have any shift locks on it. I dont have to hit the brake but there is enough space you have to move the shifter over that its not going into R unless you are shoving it over. Now this is not recommended of course but it is the way I did it. Here si the pics of mine installed.

My friend messed with my stock shifter so now before i go away to school i have to fix my old one so i can put it back in before i go away
Is a prelude one plug and play. Any cutting for the shift lockout??I used prelude to give me a standard knob, no button

then I drilled and tapped a pool ball for a knobNothing electrical works, it's not hooked up, that's fine for me.
So how do you know what gear your in?? Does it show it on the cluster.never hooked it up. You can pull the key in drive.
I pulled the top thing (gate style trim) and used a couple washers to bolt it down.

I know you have to put washers up front. I just want know everything about it and how to do it myself.
Is this the same for TL shifters.?? What about the lockout when pressing the brake to go into reverse. For xci's configuration, As long as you don't mind the fact that you can put the car in any gear at any time (reverse from 70mph in drive might be dangerous, haha!), you'll be fine here. All indicators work properly. The triptronic will be there, but won't do anything. My buddy, Got02Accord uses the triptronic as a sort of safety position since like xci's, his interlock is disconnected.
Everything is mechanical for this swap. No electrical unless you want the interlock.
