Quick PCM/ECU Question

I am getting the new PCM with the new FPR in about a week. I just want to confirm one thing:
Honda will obviously transfer the immobilizer info to the new PCM but is it at all possible for them to "accidently" transfer the old software into the new PCM and thus making the new PCM like the old PCM?

I would think this is not possible b/c then why not just update my current PCM right?

No, not possible. The updates are on the firmware on the Honda HDS.
