^^ good point... but the pop protection is tricky. there is only a specifc way that a cop can pull you over while using his "POP" mode. In a situation where he he is in motion, a cop maybe not ticket you for using POP, and must switch back to a regular laser/K, KA, X, KU band, make it legal for him to pull you over. if you have POP like i do on my new radar detector, you can deffinently fight something like that, and if you dont, then you can ask the officer what device was used in monitoring your MPH speed.

theres also a few more explanations that why they must turn their pop off and turn regular laser on... so beats me. if you find the anser let me know :)

there aren't any that actual work... you can try the active ones from passport. but you'll end up spending abou t300 + on that and they dont even use LADAR anymore... well some still do. but they say in the manual if you ever get an LADAR on your display, that usually means you should slow down.

those jammer signals no longer are very affective. i was talking to a cop, a real one, and he explained that not only do they have anti jammers, they also have radar dectector dectectors. so they can tell if you have one in your car.

True. That's why you must get a detector with a VG2 alert system (Like the one I have :D ) What it does is detect if there's a device that's detecting a radar detector in a car. If it detects this device, it automatically shuts off for 30 seconds. (at least mine does)
It's good to have in Va. & Dc. because they can confiscate your unit and give you a fine.

Or if you have an X50 like I have you can be "immune to the VG-2 "detector-detector"" ya.. so pffft on the VG2 **** lol. Now in the year 06 they're comming out with a new band of radar, called KU which is currently used in Europe... If you have an X50, look out for updates on their site to send in your radar detector and get an upgrade for free.

Stick that in the Valentine1's pipe and smoke it lol
