Hey Beautiful Accord owners,

I have spend so much money on my coolant repairs in the last few months. And now I have a radiator leak... It's leaking right at the cap. And I was thinking of maybe just upgrading the radiator to something new, a high performance aftermarket one? Or just simply replace the cap and test it?

I just noticed it, I will let my Accord cool down over night and I can check to see if the seal is on the cap is bad or not.

If the radiator lip (where the cap is located) is cracked, what radiator would you suggest? Aftermarket? OEM? What had worked for you?

I was hoping this was posted in the right place. It's not too urgent, got another Accord that is still running. That's why I figured it would be respectful to put it in this thread than in the urgent.

I put the aftermarket one that Autozone sells in my buddy's '98. No issues except the fact that they only sold one radiator for our car and if you have a manual trans, the radiator has the auto trans cooler anyway... In his case, his was auto but...

I also have a radiator from a store like that (but idk where the body shop got it).

Yeah, they all come with an ATF cooler, who cares?

Just thinkin, it's almost like a free engine oil cooler!

It takes a bit of hoe-sing, there is the factory cooler, right? The filter-base thing? I'd keep it also, not eliminate it, then it ought to give you a bit more heat control capacity!
