Ok so this is probably a stupid question but Will the v6 radiator work in my i4

Are you asking if they are the same or if it will fit? Im dont know if they are the same or not but if not I don't see any reason it wouldn't fit. As long as the space is there all of the mounting points should be there. however you may need a special size radiator hose.

Both really if it Will mount and if all lines and hoses Will connect
only reason i ask is cause i found a radiator used for dirt cheap

I would say that it will most likely bolt in place but the hose locations are probably different so you would need custom hose lines. Im also not sure if it is that much better or better at all for that matter. probably not worth the effort of putting together custom hoses.
