On the trunk where the factory spoiler bolts in.

Are you gonna fill those holes in? Don't you get water in to your trunk when it rains?

lol, i just unbolted it to put in new spoiler pads. thats what the trunk looks like after 8 years of leaky pads. there was a tsb for em way back, and mine were starting to come out the sides and look nasty. plus, i wanted to see what the previous (dumbas5) owners did with the silicone on the bolts. i think the new pads should keep out the water a little better. my trunk leaks as it is, but the cause wasnt the spoiler bolts, it was the body seams. i fixed that with some silicone, but ill probly put some bondo on it instead.

there was a 5th gen accord with 2 bullet holes in it on ebay...the seller was like "the car is in decent shape, theres 2 bullets holes on the drivers side..." i wanted to email him just to get some pics and background LOL.

i couldnt wait, so i went to pick up my special part a little early. bought it from another accord owner about 30 min from my house, in the town where i went to high school. hes got a 00 nhbp cg5 with oem spoiler and 02 se rims. he said he spent 4 months looking for a nhbp 98-00 sedan with a 5spd and found one about 45 minutes away from him. nice find, indeed . without further ado, here it is:

Headlights look good. Need to see the whole front of the car to judge the fogs. Intake looks good.

yeah, for sure. i want to trade the trunk for a spoilerless one, and also trade my ex rims for some 02 se ones. i wonder if a j yard would go along with that...might have to make a trip up to rocky's and find out.
