Rear defroster some lines not working but unbroken?

How is paint expected to revive the defogger lines? Is it conductive?

yep it's got copper or something metallic mixed in

Another thing might be that the lines might be too thin or thick and are not heating up properly.

never used this, but...

It might not have enough contact with oem 'lines' Try sanding them (VERY fine sandpaper or scotchbrite) and redrawing the lines.

OEM are probly covered with plastic.
