I haven't really measured, but yeah, i guess a 12" would fit well. Do you have any pics of how you secured it, Andy?

3M double sided heavy duty tape on the square ends.

Gotta love that 3m tape! I was thinking that a couple of self tapping screws might come in handy as well.

well, you need to cut and connect the power and ground wires for the ccfl rods transformer and your cars oem wiring for the license plate light, most people do it that way. i just made mine plug and play sorta, so i could change it back if i needed to.

How exactly did you make yours plug and play?

thanks for reminding me, haha, i need to hook it up the right way soon. i did it the way i did it so in case one of my wonderful local town cops said something about it. tho, ive never been pulled over or anything for it, so im gonna just hook it up normal.

honestly, i cant remember how i hooked it up now, hahaha. ive had it for so long.

I would get the 12" kit. Use one for the license plate light and one in the trunk.

Where do you mount the one in the trunk? Does it always stay on when the parking lights are on?
