The shop I went to had to torch that bolt, and the OEM strut was rendered useless at that point. But I didn't care, I just wanted the nightmare to end. lol

What are you gonna do?

I put the "project" to a pause last night and went out to harbor freight with my dad and bought an air hammer and a tuning fork for the air hammer. I just got out of work and im gonna go outside and drench the bolt and bushing in PB and let it sit before I start messing with it again. Any other suggestions?

Chris, you said they torched the bolt. Did they use plasma, or just a gas torch? And do you know how they went about it?

When i got mine installed my passenger rear was fudged as well. Ended up cutting the bottom of the shock mount with a torch and then the bolt spun freely with an impact gun to take off.

Just be careful with a torch there as there is some brake lines(rubber) etc that can burn also.

My bolt can spin freely but it is turning the bushing as if it was stuck in there. I shouldnt have a problem because both nuts are off. I just need something to press them out and nothing is working so far.

I was thinking if I cut on both sides of the shock where I can see the bushing, the shock should hang free, then bang out the two pieces of the bolt on both sides.
