Recent discussion in a member's ride thread got me thinking about this. I know my car had some rear body work done before I bought it, and I don't think what I have for rear plate illumination in terms of brackets, etc is what was on the car from factory. There is a white plastic bracket, and a metal bracket...that doesn't look right, and not just because it's rusty lol.

Post up a photo of what yours looks like, I want to fix mine so I know what I have to work with when I go to relocate my reverse lights. Thanks.

pretty sure i had a bracket similar to that.....not 100% sure now since it fell off from rusting thru on the mounting points

heres the pic i took of mine. looks like you just need to get rid of the metal bracket and flip the light around to the outer part of the bumper and screw it into the 2 holes.

dont really know what they were thinking there, mine is the same way. i discovered it when my light was hanging halfway down the plate. you actually just reminded me i still gotta fix it. i kind of just stuck it back up there so it didnt look ghetto.

Thanks for posting a photo Knox.

Anyone else have a pic of what they've got above their rear plate? Still not sure what's factory and what's not.
