Sweagle not trying to jack your thread, I was planning on upgrading my RSB too, found some off of ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0389093691&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT - Acura TL Progress Adjustable rear Sway bar. - 24mm

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0265130887&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT - Honda Accord Sedan 98-02 Whiteline Front Anti Sway Bar - 27mm

Whats the advantage of a front sway bar? Having a thicker front sway bar than a rsb is better? And last question, are the sway bars really this expensive? Is there anywhere else that you can find them cheaper? Are these all the parts needed to put them on? Or am I missing anything more? Thanks again

A FSB will increase the handling to the front of the car. If you increase just the FSB= more understeer. If you increase just the RSB = more oversteer. Yes the aftermarket sway bars are thay expensive, that's my most go with the 04 TL (manual 20mm) bar for a fraction of the price (around $40 shipped). Read above posts to see which parts you will need.

Just go with a 24mm Rear Sway bar from a TL-S from Progress. A sway bar helps with the rigidity of the suspension and gives it the tendancy to "slide". The front sway bar causes the front end of the car to slide - therefore give you understeer.

Pretty much all vehicle manufactures will give you a massive front sway bar to allow the car to understeer. An understeering car is "easier" to control. By adding a rear sway bar, you are giving the rear end of to slide a bit and therefore the car will "rotate" properly in the corners.

Now, I speak from track knowledge here, and you should not ever be driving at speeds on the street or performing manuvers to allow the rear end to swing out - so I am not going to tell you that it does... but it helps.

If you add really stiff springs from GC (with proper shocks like Koni Yellows or Race), then the entire front end is stiff enough, you can actually disconnect the front sway bar to eliminate the entire tendancy of understeer - and greatly increase the cars ability to oversteer.

Long story short = Increasing the Front Sway bar ... NO NO.

Progress rsbs are excellent but I think the 20mm tl type s rsb performs great for the price and I've only heard good things about both rear sway bars. So I believe either one u choose will be a noticeable upgrade.

I opted to spend 40 on the tl bar and not 140 on the progress bar.

i have the progress bar (on stiff) and the rear end brakes loose fairly easily. unless you're planning on upgrading the front too, i'd get the 20mm one. plus i think its the best bang for the buck and thats a lot of money left over to spend on something else

I've got the 20mm TL-S bar, works great. Next, I'll "upgrade" the front with the (smaller) DX bar, hoping for a little more traction while exiting corners.
