I wish there was a way I could make it so lemmie couldn't post in the garage section......

His answer to everyones problems are tranny flushes, IACV and EGR valves.

Does your car have a CEL?? Tranny Flush
Is your car burning oil? Tranny flush
Does your drivers side window not go down? Tranny flush

Reminds me of an old Chris Rock stand up......

I was wondering if anyone has ever messed with a rear lower tie bar for our cars. I know they are huge for the eks and ej8s.

I absolutely love the look of them as well. However no nice companies like Beaks, Skunk2, etc make them for our cars. I found this one on ebay and was wondering if anyone else has put one on their car. I will probably paint it candy blue to match my valve cover.

I got the same one..

For that cheap price, I would get it. It probably does almost nothing, seeing how the two mounting points are both part of one piece of the subframe which is reinforced steel. The most it would to is reduce a tiny amount of chassis flex, which is why for $22 shipped, it's worth a shot. Just my opinion, since I don't consider $22 a serious investment. In terms of function of a piece of aluminum/metal, brand name is worthless so it don't even matter that it's a generic eBay item.

Spend the money on a Sway Bar first. Tie Bars really look pretty, they don't do a whole lot, except scrap the ground.

They make good skid plates though. You see sparks coming out of my car every now and then at the track :)

I found with lowered car and the cusco front lower tie bar, Within a week it be broken. It hung 1" from the ground the way they want you to install it, But I solved this by flipping it around so the curve is upwards.

this is an old thread i know, so i apologize for bringing it back up. i installed this so called ebay tie bar since its been sitting in my garage for like two years now. but now that it's on my alignment sort of went off. my steering wheel is not straight when i try to keep wheels straight. anyone else have this problem? should going to get an alignment solve this?
