itd be a lot easier for you if you just replaced the seats with leather ones, instead of recovering them. for the key hole for the seat back, i have no clue about that, haha. i know my old 98 used to not turn at all like yours does, idk about my 99, cuz i dont care about it, haha. i just pull the latch inside the trunk if i want to fold the seats down.

you planning on getting a cover for that dome light?

and as for the leather , ugh it's so expensive and the seat covers are only about 40-60
OH LOL , yeah it was in my house for cleaning cause all these dumb bugs were inside it.

be like it is
wiggle the key around...push up and down on it...go nuts :lawl: you'll find there's a "sweet spot" that will open it...at least thats how it is with mine. you could always pop the cover off and see if theres anything stuck down below.

if that doesnt work, look at the mechanism from the trunk and see if there's anything that's trying to move but cant (preferably while someone else is wiggling the key).

The trunk release keyhole can be funny sometimes, push on the seat while you are trying to unlock it, as well as some of the other suggestions.
