Removing Crank Pulley Bolt

I was just about to post that. haha

OP, this is the only way to hold the crank in one position while you try and break it loose with a breaker bar and a pipe.

Guys looks like thats my only opinion the chain I had linked up to my blocked snapped

I hear you, but I don't have any, plus my boy air compressor is bolted to the garage and I don't have anything to drag it there and too lazy to carry it there lol

Finally got my pulley tool, took longer than I expect but I haz it going to take a crack it soon :bump:

Torch makes life easier

there is around 500 ft/lbs of torque on those damn things, get a 1/2 inch breaker bar and the handle from a 3 ton floor jack and stand while bouncing a little. it will break lose. i learn the hard way.

Idk about 500 lbs of torque but looks like I'm going to autozone and rent an electric impact thats close too 300 lbs of torque and pray that bolt comes out or else I'm going to throw fit :madrun:

the pulley tool fail with 3ft extension to breaker bar.....torch fail......chain to flywheel and block fail.....the next option autozone.....last will be the dealer to crack it loose for and hope they don't charge me

goto an auto shop and pay them 10 bucks to hit your crank pulley bolt with their air gun. hand tighten it and then limp home

i have done this many of times on accords
