Well, my car was in a wreck recently, luckily with the help of a friend, car was back on the road within a week. Now, my painted front bumper is no where near the original color of the car, I know the paint will never match, but this doesn't even come close. I was wondering where the cheapest place would be to buy 1-5 gallons of Satin Silver metallic paint. And is it possible to paint just a front bumper with a gallon of paint? Also, is it too much of a pain in the a$$ to repaint the entire car in the garage? Thanks again for the help.

a gallon of paint is a ton. there is a place in oxnard called one-day paint that does a pretty decent job for low prices. as long as you take car of the paint it'll last.

Holy balls... gallons of paint? Do you know how expensive good automotive paint is by the quart?

Why not have a body shop do a professional job for a few hundred bucks? I can guarantee you that mismatched colors is going to looks better than any job one of us can do.

I am going to do one day paint also but at location near my house. I called them to see what they exactly do. They sand the car, put some sealer and then paint the car. No primer or anything. Just sand the car, sealer and paint lol.

So before I take my car there I am going to prep the car myself first and then take it there to get painted.
