alright guys. here's the scoop. my car is 8 years old and i don't want it to start showing.
i got paint chips here and there.
i got dents here and there.
i got curb rashes and slight warping with my rims.
tail lights are a bit scuffed.
head lights are a bit scuffed.
so i am planning on doing a restoration project.
first off. i am replacing my head lights with DEPO OEM Style blackhouse headlights.
next, i am trying to buy DEPO L.E.D. black house tail lights.
then take my rims into a shop to get them repaired and polished.
get a fatter tire, upgrading from 35 wall to 40 wall to prevent future hiccups in dips.
take my car into dent wizard to remove the bumps and dents.
as far as the knicks, i'm debating whether or not to do touch-up myself. or repaint the whole car.
i got quotted at about $2000 to repain the whole car, removing and welding the sidemoldings close. if i go this route, i'd paint it either some sort of blue or championship white.
if i do DIY touch-up, i'm going to paint the sideskirts and the sidemoldings black.
hopefully, i can make my car look comfortably new again. this will take time and money. but it is something i want to invest in before i try to do more engine mods. i'm finished with bolt-on power. only road to go from there is turbo and i'm not sure right now.
so hopefully this can keep me busy.
suggestions? comments? questions? critiques?
all are welcomed.
