there was a HUGE thread on hidplanet like 2 years ago on someone wanting replica zkw/tsx/s2k/e30/etc lenses made. cant remember who it was, but there was a chinese dude wanting to make em (i mean a factory owner in china was involved with this thread). well...it got deleted cause hidplanet is a business first and it was seen as using hidplanet as a free business front cause hidplanet (chuck, the owner of the business) didnt want a part in it.

wouldnt surprise me for a second if matt used that thread to get the chinese guy's info and contact him (matt was banned using at least 5 names) and go through with the replicas.

so thats about the time i stopped browsing hidplanet. same old threads everyday, noobs, and people just starting to make moulds of e46 bezels to replicate. i hate replica stuff and especially stuff made in china.

zero defect (sorry...cant remember your name )...any reason you didn't go with a quad setup? there are a couple halogen projectors out there that fit in our tiny high beams. one kind was from a vw toureg i want to say? their lens diameter was 2" or something close to that...plus they required like no room since they were H7 (wouldnt be difficult to make a harness or adapter)...im so rusty on things...

I wanna do it as a personal project once we redo our kitchen (until then I have no means of opening them cus our oven doesn't work). And the prices are what Caesar charged, would've supplied parts but didn't really care cus insurance was takin care of it. As far as Caesar doing local-only, I don't really know but I live only like an hour from Clifton so I just go see him in person.

^I did read somewhere that his "source" is in China, so that makes sense. Also, quad setups have been accomplished on 6th gen accord headlights, not just with a halogen projector in place of the high beam.

He's not on 6ga to the best of my knowledge. On v6p his s/n is Kiet. Rich (HID Illusionz) has also done a quad retrofit, but I'm not sure if it was the one I pictured or if it was a different one altogether.
