I searched the forums and I have the information I need to do the retrofits, but I still have some questions.

I want to do a retrofit similar to this:

http://6thgenaccord.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49524&highlight=retrofit+headlights

1) I was wondering if I can use these shrouds on these projectors? (links)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/E46-R-Shrouds-2-5-3-0-Xenon-Projector-HID-Retrofit-Bezels-/291308813890

http://www.amazon.com/Nilight®-MINI...&qid=1439687259&sr=8-1&keywords=hid+retrofits

2) For the hid lights it requires h1 bulbs. I have the hid conversion kit for the 9006 bulbs. I was wondering if I can just buy the h1 bulbs and plug and play?

3) Since I am taking apart my headlights, I was wondering what is the silver film that is used inside of the headlights? I have seen some people put in yellow for there high beams.

1. It Looks like those shrouds should work. I bought the exact kit you have on the link and I had to saw off the bottom to make them fit. Get a second opinion on those though.
2. All you will need to get are the h1 bulbs, they fit the 9006 ballasks.
3. To get the yellow in the high beam buckets, all I did was use yellow stain glass paint from home depot I believe . Just do a couple coats and it should still have the mirror-like effect.

H1 bulbs? Why not D2S?

I'm confused, must be missing something here. Are you talking about pre-retrofit for your stock headlights, or using H1 bulbs with TSX projectors?

He is talking about bulbs for the projectors. They require h1 bulbs, I bought the exact kit on the link and I use h1 bulbs. He says he wants to do a retrofit similar to the one on the for sale thread but using the projectors he listed. He is not using tsx projectors.

Yes you can use E46-R shrouds but don't waste your time on ebay.

TRS has the e46-r shrouds and "b-stock" is only $15
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/components/shrouds/e46-r-projector-shrouds.html#.Vc_LRPlVhBc

Their projectors are better too
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/closeouts/b-stock-morimoto-mh1-6-0-projectors.html#.Vc_K0PlVhBc

you can also use coupon code TRSHJ for 10% off

you'll need a wiring harness that can attach to an H1 bulb, not just the bulb. TRS can probably help you with that too. There is no silver or yellow film in the headlight. the silver is a chemical process and the yellow is done with a certain type of spray paint.

Very nice! Have you tried B-Stock before?

Would I need centric ring?

Wiring harness? One of the members mentioned above that the ballast for the 9006 hid conversion kit is compatible with the h1 bulb wiring.

Got it, should have clicked on the second link instead of assuming he was trying to copy the other retrofit. Sorry.

Shame to use those parts, but oh well. lol

I think I'm going with parts from TRS. I didn't know that had discounted parts. haha.

Nothing wrong with going the cheap route when your doing a mod for the first time. :)
