yes those are the new ones, they are identical to the old ones but not used and not damaged and painted by me.

the stats are really unknown. im going to have the exhaust done saturday, then the following friday im going to put it on the dyno, but well be street tuning it a little first.

it shoudl make at least 230 hp and 240 ft/lbs or torque, but im shooting for about 250 -275 if we can really squeeze it out. with the new exhaust and an open dump, the car should boost really fast and at 9 lbs it should make a good bit of power, and a lot of torque very early in the powerband... but again, this is all speculation, but at least i know ill break 200 easy, its just a matter of how much time we have to play with it on teh dyno.

after this is done and my suspension is setup, itll be about the beginning of summer, and funnily, thats when my built bottom end will be done. Im still looking at what exactly im gonna put in it, but there will most likely be forged pistons and rods, new rings and arp head studs, maybe a kife edged crank, but more than likely itll be stock. the block will also be sleeved with darton or benson sleeves, most likely benson, and then ill be running about 20 lbs on it shooting for the high 400hp range, and thats without boost juice which i will for sure run afterwards. but thats not til the summer, and i have a lot of saving to do, althoough its going to cost me about half as much as the turbo setup to get the block built. im getting a free block and just paying a few hundred for the work plus the cost of parts (i got a good friend :)

so, the car should be done soon, as far as stage 1 goes. with the new exhaust, i shouldnt have to worry about ever messing with it again. other than the downpipe that may need to be rebuilt if i upgrade to a better manifold, im pretty much sticking with what im doing now. the best part will be the open dump. right now the car is quiet under boost, but it makes poor power, with the open dump, its going to be louder at full boost but it will help soo much with spool.

lastly, i accidentally on purpose forgot that i was bidding on a carbon fiber fuel door and won it last night, cost me 50 dollars lol and i ordered a big sheet of carbon fiber for a project i think will be really cool... a carbon fiber radiator cooling plate, just like this:

ill have some left over so i may use it for other stuff, but most likelly ill mess up the first time lol. then ill be ordering my carbon fiber hood. im debating getting suspension first because my car now needs a proper setup since it gets so much wheel hop in 1st gear, but a mount insert may fix that, so im not sure yet. if you saw a picture of my car, the front is at least an inch higher than the rear lol!
