Rev Hang between shifts (manual)?

A few seconds? That doesn't sound right to me personally, and that's nothing like any MT i've driven. I will say my accord doesn't "rev down" as quickly as many other cars though.

Wait, a few seconds, or are you exaggerating? Because it usually stays for about a half second, maybe a tiny bit more with a stock clutch/flywheel. With my lightweight flywheel, it almost goes right down.

i got a similar problem with my accord...except when im at low rpm like under 3000 and i try to accelerate...the car feels like its chokin for air unless i downshift and take it above 3500rpm

Its normal, actually I think I even read somewhere that its a feature for smoother shifts. You don't want the rpms to drop to 500 or something when shifting right, instead they stay a little higher for a less harsh transition.
