Good to see some love for your coupe, love that front end shot. You'll have to let me know how those DRL headlights do for you. I bought a set of those (a long while back lol) in all clear configuration to retrofit my projectors into from the headlights that are on the car. Hoping the hue of the LED tube would match that of my 6000k HID kit.

Speaking of CF, I just remembered that I still have the AIT roof spoiler I bought from John Kn0x47 that's been sitting in my garage for years lol. But yea CF can be very addictive, like that R32 old Japanese guy saying nothing but "Kah-bon Fye-bah" in SEMA show, if you know what I mean lol.

You know me too well, and I must admit that most of my attentions have been paid to the CL for the past years. In fact, these updates were the accumulation of 6 years since 2019 haha. (Some pics are from my dead old phone being all purpled out lol.)

My headlights are doing great. The DRL tubes are still being strong, too. The LED tubes are about 6000K. My headlights are 6250K, and they match very well together. Def not 5000K for sure. I still remember you told me that you bought these headlights for your project haha. Didn't you post about these headlights starting to pop up on ebay, when they came out? Along with some CF interior parts manufacture available for our cars that you discovered iirc? I also remember you mentioned about one company that makes quality pedals for our cars. So I revisited their web site for a set of pedals on my CL, and I have one of their pages saved up as my wish list now haha.

Been wanting to remove this filthy bay hood cover thing for a while, and I finally had a chance to get it done.



Not exactly sure if I'd get a new replacement for it, but this is good enough for me now.

I've noticed newer cars don't come with the "fire blanket" anymore, at least my ATS didn't. I'll have to check my parents' Pilot.

Does the LED tube in those headlights still work? As part of getting my Accord back on the road I was thinking I'd finally unbox mine and retrofit my....retrofit.

That's right, it is actually to diffuse the fire in the bay, not really an insulator nor sound deadener to begin haha. I bought a '11 Pilot as new, and she didn't come with that fancy blankie either.

My LED tubes are hooked up to the headlights' inner parking lights, and I use the lights all the time, to show off the 6GA coupe's sexy taillights, whenever I can lol. And, the LED tubes have never failed on me to this date. I made one of the tubes flick for a short while on rare occasions, because once I had a lame DIY installation / wirings, but other than that, I feel like the lights are pretty well-made imo. I used to hear from others saying that the tubes stopped lighting after a few months of use, but I feel like those were mainly because of an inadequate installation / wirings like I had. I'm sure you can avoid that problem, so I think you should retro your retro, when the right time comes to you! (So glad to hear that you've decided to keep up with your coupe again, sir.)

Well, just because I started to spend some time on my Accord lately, my CL started to get jealous and grabbed my attentions for a need of getting the valve lash adjustment done... (Will be updating my CL's thread later lol)
