i got 18x7.5 rims with 42 offset and they rub when going fast over bumps, driveways, dips, etc...and i didn't even lower it. but i've heard of other accord having the same size and offset and not rub...i'm not sure myself.

i have +42 offset on 17x7 rims, i like it, theyre level with the fenders, it looks nice.

I concur. I have +42mm and I like how it lines up and i'm not even dropped.

do u guys think it's a good idea if i lower my car a lil? cuz i got 18x7.5 +42mm and it lines up perfectly under the fender or maybe a mm more out? but i just want to make it look more proportional...a bit too much space...

+42-45mm works best
Yeah, and i'd stay more on the 45 side if you can find wheels. I have some 17's not on the car, 45 offset, just about perfect. I'd defineatly run more like a +22 if i was slammed though.

I also have a 2000 AV6 EX 4DR and was doing this research for my car as well a few months ago. The stock offset is +50mm, so the closer to that you can get, the better. I've found very few wheels however that have a +48mm to +52mm offset. Most of them are in the +42mm to +45mm range. I personally will be getting one that is +48mm as this is the closest offset to stock I can find on a wheel that I wouldn't have to shoot myself if I put on my car. The on in particular that I am looking at is the ADR Sokudo 10.
