my engine oil was black every time i changed it every3k... but one day i decided to use royal purple 5w20, i changed my oil about 4 times with royal purple... and now my motor oil is clean on every oil change... and i use Castro edge 5w20...=)

I had the exact opposite experience with Royal Purple. It starved my head of oil with in 200miles of having it in the engine. Now I don't recommend anyone use it.

it came highly reccomended from a few people so i gave it a shot. ill never use it again. same thing happened to me after a few hundred miles.

If you have already used it a few times, you should be okay. I purchased a cylinder head for a 2jzge that had royal purple used and it looked GREAT.


I'll stick with Mobile 1 thouigh and that's what I'll reccomend since that is what I've used for a long time.
